Spring Green

After the Pocahontas wedding on Saturday, we did a quick photo shoot in the wooded area around the parking lot at Jamestowne Island.  I changed in the car - one does not wear white to a wedding!  ...Even if it's the re-enactment of a wedding 400 years ago and white wedding dresses only became popular about 100 years ago.  It's the principle of the thing.

This was really just an excuse to get pictures of my green straw bonnet with all the accessories that it now matches perfectly!  I like all the green even better with the white dress.

It was a gorgeous sunny day, and there was a surprising amount of green on the trees - I kept unintentionally blending into the scenery!

I also wore my lovely new Hartfields, which are much more comfortable to wear outdoors than the Pemberlies.

As ever, I had a hard time narrowing down which photos to include, so there are more posted on my Facebook page.
